ahsap baski

Wood-letters created by Albert Kapr were the rudiment for the font »Ahsap Baskı«. I adapted most of the letters from Kaprs work and created the missing parts and especially the turkish glyphs in order to expand the alphabet. I tried to empathize the way a chisel work its way through wood with a broad nib pen. Afterwards I modified the letters to create a balance between readabilitiy and the impression of woodcut letters.
